YOUNG GUNS

The Razorbacks are staying young at heart. Head Hog Sam Pittman has switched gears to preparing for their season opener against Rice, and in the process has identified some youngsters who are ready to make impact plays for the Hogs right away.

We've got all the highlights, observations, and videos from Day 18 of fall camp. Let's get to it...

▶️ Three's Company: Arkansas has a pair of wide receivers in Treylon Burks and De’Vion Warren, but Coach Pittman says that true freshman Ketron Jackson Jr. is going to be really good really fast... and take some pressure off the top two wideouts on the depth chart: "He’s at least our [third] best receiver we have, maybe higher. The guy’s going to be really, really good."

▶️ Launch Forth: Ask any Razorback football players for a guy who's stood out in fall camp and freshman tailback Raheim "Rocket" Sanders is a name not very far down the list: "I think Rocket Sanders," junior offensive lineman Ricky Stromberg said when asked who had been progressing well through practices. "Rocket Sanders has been a monster this camp."

▶️ Left Vague: The battle for the fifth and final starting spot on the offensive line is still not decided, with Coach Pittman saying that Brady Latham and Luke Jones were still fighting for the left guard spot. A full depth chart will likely be available on Wednesday of next week.

Arkansas returns to practice this weekend in the lead up to their season opener against Rice on Saturday, September 4th at 1:00pm.
