The nation’s most dominant pitcher looked every bit of it. Kevin Kopps struck out five in three scoreless innings of relief to lock down Arkansas’ 6-4 win against Vanderbilt to help the Razorbacks move on to the SEC Tournament semifinals.

The Hogs were in the pocket in Hoover last night. What were the plays of the game?

▶️ Caught In The Act: The Commodores tried to get cute early, but Casey Opitz made them pay for trying to steal third base with a machine gun of a throw.

▶️ No Tricks: When the Razorbacks needed a big play, Matt Goodheart gave it to them. This two-run shot to deep left field helped them mount a lead in the fourth inning that the Razorbacks would never relinquish.

▶️ United: Vanderbilt tried to put together a comeback, but this beautifully executed 4-6-3 double play stopped them in their tracks.

Honorable Mention: In a postgame interview, Kevin Kopps geeked out with the SEC Network crew about his pitching technique. If you've ever wondered what physics, gravity, and wind velocity have to do with pitching, watch this.

Razorback baseball has Friday off and will face the winner of Vanderbilt/Ole Miss on Saturday at 3:30pm CT on SEC Network.
