🔺 Victory Lap. Julian Perico, a three-time all-region selection, was named NCAA Division I PING All-American honorable mention, as selected by the Golf Coaches Association of America. This is the third straight year that Perico led the Razorbacks in scoring.
🔺 Starting Nine. With three more players drafted in Day 3, Arkansas baseball ended the MLB Draft with nine players called up to the bigs this week, the second-most in college baseball. Yesterday, Caden Monke got drafted by the Kansas City Royals, Elijah Trest is going to the Colorado Rockies, and Charlie Welch was picked by the Seattle Mariners.
🔺 Dream Come True. Peyton Stovall, one of the top high school recruits in the class of 2021, withdrew from this year's MLB Draft and chose to play on The Hill. Stovall said he appreciated how the Razorback baseball coaching staff supported him throughout the draft process... but getting to talk to players like Robert Moore and Cayden Wallace didn't hurt either.
