📈 STOCK UP (4/26)

Good morning, winners! While you make that uphill climb to the start of your workweek, remember... Arkansas is still home to the only SEC baseball program not to drop a conference series all season.

Need something to get you pumped on your morning commute? We've got Phil Elson—radio play-by-play for Razorback baseball—on today's Razorback Daily. You're welcome.

Today, we're talking about the best baseball team in the country, a softball team looking for a Monday rebound, and more.

🔺 Down In The Count. The Razorback softball team dropped only its second SEC series of the season, hanging close early in both weekend games but ultimately dropping each in the final innings. The final home game for the team is tonight at Bogle Field at 6:00pm CT on the SEC Network.

🔺 Pair Of Queens. Arkansas softball infielder Braxton Burnside and pitcher Mary Haff have both been named Top 25 Finalists for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year. The Razorbacks are one of just five programs (Alabama, Oklahoma, UCLA, and Washington) to place two players on the prestigious list.

🔺 Head Of His Class. Razorback men's golf star Segundo Oliva Pinto fired a final-round 68 to become the third Razorback to win the SEC Championship individual title. Listen to him talk about what it means to be crowned SEC champion.

🔺 Edged Out. The Razorback men's golf team had its two final matches in the SEC Championship come down to the 18th hole, but they were just barely edged out by conference rivals Vanderbilt. Head coach Brad McMakin said the University of Arkansas should be very proud of everything this team put into the tournament in an emotional post-match speech. Arkansas will have to wait until May 5 to find out which NCAA Regional it will play.

🔺 Smashing Records. On a day that included five Razorback track & field victories at the John McDonnell Invitational, Arkansas capped the weekend with three decathletes producing scores among the UA all-time top 10. Markus Ballengee won the 10-event competition with a meet record score of 7,895 points to better the previous record of 7,813 points set by Terry Prentice in 2013.

🔺 It's A Date. Razorback football has set the date for Homecoming—October 16th vs. Auburn inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The Arkansas Alumni Association will host homecoming activities during the week, including the Alumni Awards Celebration, Class of 2019 and 2020 Senior Walk Dedication, the annual Homecoming Parade, and more.
