Good morning, y'all. I hope you're ready to talk about how good the Razorback baseball and softball teams are. You might not even need a cup of coffee after you take a look at their combined stats from last night.
2 games that were a lot of fun to watch
🔺 Behind The 8 Ball. It was an eighth inning to remember for the Razorback baseball team as they absolutely crushed it for seven hits and nine runs, including this grand slam from Jacob Nesbit. The opposing relief pitcher finished the bottom of the eighth with 0.2 innings pitched and an ERA of 54.00. (No, that is not a typo.)
🔺 Put Your Best Bat Forward. Razorback softball infielder DanielleGibson has been named SEC Player of the Week for Week Six of the season. Gibson hit .400 last week and clubbed a solo walk-off home run on Saturday to defeat Ole Miss by a score of 3-2. She totaled six hits, three doubles, three RBIs, three runs scored, and a walk over four games.
🔺 And We All Know What Happened In '94. It sure has seemed like there have been more upsets than usual in the NCAA tournament. And now we have the proof! How interesting that the seed numbers add up to 94. I'm sure that's not a significant number to Razorback basketball fans.
🔺 Bouncing Back. Women's soccer is clawing their way back to the top, earning a No. 12 ranking in the country. Their next matchup is Friday night against Kansas.
🔺 Haters Gonna Hate. CBS' Todd Fuhrman tried to be a shock jock andRazorback basketball head coach Eric Musselman wasn't having it. The Razorback Daily podcast had some good advice for Coach Muss: "Let your haters be your motivators."
