Adversity. Nerves. Pride. That's how Head Hog Sam Pittman described the atmosphere after a Week 1 win against Rice. This was a Razorback team that made halftime adjustments in spades to come out in the second half and score 31 unanswered points on way to a 38-17 victory.

It might have been a shaky start, but the tape is filled with SportsCenter-worthy highlights for the Hogs. Who shined the brightest?

Here's a six-pack that's safe to open before noon...

1️⃣ The Longest Yards: KJ Jefferson got the Hogs on the board in the first quarter with a 34-yard scramble up the middle, the longest run by a Razorback quarterback since Matt Jones’ 72-yard TD run against Ole Miss on November 13, 2004. (Big props to No. 19 Tyson Morris for the block downfield.)

2️⃣ Explosive Material: Jalen Catalon's two interceptions will make the highlight reels. But CBS Sports did a bite-sized deep dive into his two tackles for a loss yesterday, calling him "the most explosive safety in college football" and... he ain't wrong.

3️⃣ Standing Up: Trelon Smith recorded his third career 100-yard rushing performance on Saturday. This 20-yard pickup, where he showed off his vision and acceleration, was a big chunk of those yards.

4️⃣ Break On The Ball: As the Hogs were trying to build on their lead against Rice in the fourth quarter, it was redshirt senior Montaric Brown who made a beautiful break on the ball to snag a sideline pick.

5️⃣ Tight Corner: It wasn't all downfield blocking for Tyson Morris against Rice, as he racked up 42 yards on three catches—including this one in the corner of the end zone.

6️⃣ First Of Many: Sophomore running back Dominique Johnson sealed the win with his very first collegiate touchdown in the final minute, pounding it in from three yards out.

Arkansas returns to practice today in the lead up to their Week 2 matchup against Texas on Saturday night under the lights on ESPN.
