LOOKING FORWARD

Fayetteville will be filled to the brim on Saturday night. For the first time since 2017, every single seat at Razorback Stadium is accounted for. There are standing-room-only tickets available, but as it stands over 76,000 of us will be rocking, rolling, and roaring—making life very difficult for ESPN cameramen and audio engineers.

And I know y'all wouldn't want it any other way.

Before we get into the X's and O's, let's check in on what the Hogs and Horns are saying about one of college football's oldest rivalries...

▶️ Let's Get Physical: Jalen Catalon had a career day against Rice, making 11 tackles and hauling in two interceptions. But he's not resting on his laurels. His sights are set on Texas: "You’ve always got to enjoy your wins. But at the same time, you’ve always got to put it behind you and prepare for Texas. It’s going to be a big game. Texas is a great team, and I believe we’re a great team just like them. So it’s going to be a physical game."

▶️ On The Run: Head Hog Sam Pittman singled out several Texas players that he's specifically game planning for, but he had the most to say about running back Bijan Robinson, calling him really special: "He's hard to tackle and has an elusiveness in space, but he also runs over you. He has a lot of speed ... He's a special player."

▶️ R-E-S-P-E-C-T: Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian knows the history between these two programs. And he knows the Longhorns will need to come in ready to battle because the Hogs certainly will: "It’s a pretty cool game. Old Southwest Conference foes meet. We have a great of respect for Arkansas. This football team plays hard, plays physical, they’re tough. Seeing them in their opener ... it’s a brand of football that they’re proud of. We’ve got out work cut out for us. We need a good week of work."

Arkansas returns to practice today in the lead up to their matchup against Texas on Saturday night under the lights.
