INTO THE PROMISED LAND

Moses Moody will know where his NBA future starts tonight. The SEC Freshman of the Year is just hours away from taking his first step into a much larger world.

What are NBA insiders saying about Moody? Where's he likely to end up? And how high is his draft stock going into tonight?

▶️ Big Believer: ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas is high on Moody. Really, really high, saying on a pre-draft conference call with media that he'd "very surprised if he’s not top 10" due to his size, speed, and shot accuracy.

▶️ Sounds Familiar: The Golden State Warriors, who hold the 7th and 14th overall picks, reportedly held private workouts for a handful of prospects, including Moody. It makes sense that a team in need of a shooting guard would covet a player like Moody who was the scoring leader for the highest-scoring team in the SEC. There's also an element of kismet here—Coach Musselman made his debut as an NBA head coach with the Warriors.

▶️ Magic Touch: Bleacher Report draft analyst Jonathan Wasserman sees a fit for Moody with the Orlando Magic at the 8th overall pick, saying that Orlando needs help on the wing and that Moody's "ability to score off the ball from spot-ups and screens" would make for an easy transition to the NBA.
