Dave Van Horn couldn't speak more highly of his ace in the hole, and Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, the oldest baseball publication in the country, voted him the best player in the country.

*cough* And he's the first reliever to ever win that award. *cough*

The Golden Spike Award, given to the top amateur baseball player in the country, will be announced next Tuesday... so you know we'll be stating our case for Kopps first thing Monday morning.
