Pound the rock. That was the theme at fall camp yesterday as the Razorbacks focused on running backs. This is a team that finished 8th in the SEC in rushing yards per game (151.3) and 10th in rushing touchdowns (11).

Head coach Sam Pittman wants more out of the ground game this season and Trelon Smith & Co. wants to give it to him in what was the first bit of team action in fall practice.

We've got all the highlights, observations, and videos from Day 4 of fall camp. Let's get to it, y'all...

▶️ Call For Backup: Trelon Smith is the starter, but the backup running back is still getting sorted. Dominique Johnson was working in the RB2 spot with Javion Hunt slotted at RB3.

▶️ Champing At The Bit: Running backs coach Jimmy Smith isn't ready to fill out the depth chart in pen quite yet, however. But he was excited talking about the running backs... largely because each guy brings something different to the table.

▶️ Tough As Nails: That excitement is infectious as Trelon Smith was all smiles in talking about the running backs room, calling it a "tough-nosed group" and singing backup running back Josh Oglesby's praises.

Arkansas continues fall camp today in the lead up to their season opener against Rice on Saturday, September 4th at 1:00pm.
