Triple digit temperatures. It's August in Fayetteville, which means it's not just Sam Pittman & Co. bringing the heat. Mother Nature is doing a fine enough job of that on her own, capping out with a heat index of 100 degrees on the field.

But the Hogs looked anything but sluggish through the blistering temperatures, with linebackers and tight ends standing out all afternoon.

We've got all the highlights, observations, and videos from Day 5 of fall camp. Let's get to it...

▶️ One Last Hurrah: There is no off switch for Grant Morgan, who knows his sixth year will be his last with the Hogs. And he's making the most of it, throwing himself completely into the team: "If we have an hour break, not go home get a nap. We literally sit up there and play pool and talk because we know this is our last one."

▶️ Got That Wood: If there's one thing Razorback linebackers love about head coach Sam Pittman, it's that he's helping bring toughness and physicality back to the Hogs: "Pittman, he brought back football like Arkansas is supposed to be, the hard-working, the tough, the physical. You go look at Arkansas at its prime, you go look at smash-mouth football and that’s what we want to be. We want to be a team that hits hard."

▶️ Brave New World: KJ Jefferson is getting more and more comfortable under center and (most importantly) as a leader on the field. He's playing loose, he's playing fast, and he's quick with a joke to the coaches.

Arkansas has the day off practice today, but returns on Thursday in the lead up to their season opener against Rice on Saturday, September 4th at 1:00pm.
