ALL OR NOTHING

Arkansas baseball is in the driver's seat this weekend. Sweep visiting Florida and the regular season SEC title is yours outright. Lose even one game and things get a little interesting from there.

Every game matters.

As good as the Razorbacks have been, they've only swept one conference series this season. But it was against a very good Mississippi State team on the road. That's how good the SEC is and how hard three-game sweeps are—they just don't happen that often.

What better time than now for their second?

How does Arkansas match up to Florida and what will the keys to victory be? Let's find out!

1️⃣ Worst At Show: The Gators do a lot of things well, but one thing they've struggled in is their fielding. They have an SEC-low .969 fielding percentage. Even a small decrease like a few thousandths of a point can mean one or two missed opportunities for Florida's defense. And Arkansas needs to take advantage of those moments with an extra base here or there.

2️⃣ I'm (Not) Walkin' Here: Florida's pitchers are giving up the second-fewest walks (2.9 per game), but they rank just 12th in strikeouts per game (9.0) in the SEC. This is a Gators pitching staff that is allowing hits and runs. Not a lot, but average on both counts for the conference. Don't be surprised if this weekend is tight like last weekend against Tennessee, when each game was decided by one run.

3️⃣ Power Through It: Arkansas leads the SEC in home runs (83) and ranks third in runs scored (382). But they're tied for fifth-worst in the conference with only 89 doubles and triples combined. This is a Razorback team who gets the scoring done one of two ways—big-play bombs over the fence and grind-it-out singles. They'll need both this weekend to keep the Gators on their toes.

Arkansas hosts Florida this weekend for the final regular season series of the season. Game 1 is tonight at 6:00pm CT and you can watch the game on SEC Network.
