A NEW HOPE
This year's Razorback softball team is flying solo from all other squads that came before them. For the first time in school history, this team has at least a share of the SEC crown.
It was an emotional moment for everyone, especially head coach Courtney Deifel who got a little emotional during her postgame interview.
The team only allowed three runs in three games to win the series... so you know we're gonna focus on pitching this morning. And here we go!
1️⃣ Mary Haff pitched 16.1 total innings in the series, allowing just nine hits all weekend. She struck out 11. She had just two earned runs. There's just no one like her in college softball.
2️⃣ Autumn Storms was the only other Razorback to take the mound and she made the most of it in Game 3. She struck out one and allowed just a single run.
Now we sit and wait... if Florida loses any of their games against Texas A&M this weekend, Arkansas wins the title outright. We don't like to share.
May the force be with the Aggies.
